That specific part of the Young Jeezy verse lives rent free in my mind lol. And anyone who claims they hate Call Me Maybe just hate fun. Loved this and thank you for sharing your photos to really capture the moment!
All these songs were on my pink mini iPod and once again unlocked memories I forgot I had. Also the throwback pics were iconic because I fear we may have had the same closet 🤣 as always your takes never miss!
Katelyn, you blow me away with your high-energy, flipsy-wordy takes on so many things that, my being of a near-bygone generation ahead of you, I scramble my brain just to decipher what and who we're hearing about. No matter. I love reading your spirit, your emotions that seem to fly across the wind as each fresh year passes, and I am genuinely enthralled by an element regretably foreign to me: the apparent immense supportive pleasure of partnering with a large variety of musical creatives who walk beside you, arm in arm, through a world of both pleasure and menace, all in blankets of support for a heart that eternally strives to find its song. Gotta say ... I'm jealous. Please keep posting. You're a delight to read, whether I know what the hell you're talking about or not. Love ya!
I had forgotten about SO many of these, so this list was a treat. Additionally, this made laugh AND feel so wistful! As a youth, it felt like things were down but not out! I hope I can regain some of that optimism.
Also, the only recession pop song I feel should join this list is Dynamite by Taio Cruz. To this DAY it will completely light up my entire brain!
Taio Cruz is a good one!! He's lost to time. And I know, I miss the optimism, which I try to keep alive, but my naivete protected me and idk how to recapture that.
I'd like to point out your Marvel shirt. Have you yet to see a Marvel movie??
Teenage Dream really is the best. Still love that song. I'm sure there's too many to add to this list!
Reading this brought me a lot of emotions - like anger about the total scam of higher ed - mixed with happy nostalgia, but I think that's the point of this post! Mission accomplished
Still no Marvels for me (maybe Iron Man one day!) and that wasn't my shirt, I think it was some kind of theme day at school? Thanks!! Mixed feelings about college. 🙃

Haha, thank you for reading along anyway! And enjoying Taylor Swift's discography is no longer foreign to you — you have that.

oh right, forgot about the people in my life
